BIOGRAPHY
Alex Gallo was born in Milan in 1982. In 2005 he got his Diploma at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milan. In 2006 he received the Certificate of Recognition of the Etruscan Academy and year 2006 the Honorary Recognition of the International Academy “Greci-Marino”, in 2007 Academy of Verbano – Letters, Arts and Sciences.
His artistic and exhibition career began during his academic studies, when he was registered in R.O.d.A.C. (Registro Opere d’Arte Contemporanee – Register of Contemporary Artwork), in painting and sculpture within the art movement: Post-Surrealism and Figurative Symbolism.
At the same time, his visions expanded also into photography, where he earned critics, accolades and exhibitions, at the international level also, developing a personal perception of eroticism and of a spiritual and alchemical psychosexuality.

Known for his art which is sacred, introspective, subversive and objectively realistic, symbolic and syncretistic, deeply intrauterine. The Artist is still directed to the photographic and philosophical perspectives which find their precise itinerary towards the symbology and the most arcane esotericism: odinism, runology, runosophy towards the psychocentrist philosophy – “Left Hand Path”.
«I indulge my pleasure in revealing and illuminating the complex and often dark sides of human nature; that’s why I find necessary and inevitable, a violent art, able to distructure the massification, through a diabolic, raw, maddening and provoking photograph. My visions merge the perversion with the purity and the innocence with the apprehension; the iridescent visions, sometimes stuporous and absolutely unpopular, which underline the absurdity of reality and the objectivity in photography. The only thing that is really objective is the expelling of fallacies from my visceral and intrauterine images. I enjoy immortalizing only the truth of the things; in fact, my images turn over emotions and provoke contrasting feelings. For me, there is no unique canon of beauty; my eye finds out the erotic beauty in people, contexts and situations, not accessible to everyone.
